{"id":794,"date":"2021-07-29T06:21:06","date_gmt":"2021-07-29T06:21:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/publicidad10.com\/cancuncancerinstitute\/?post_type=especialidades&#038;p=794"},"modified":"2021-12-16T15:39:53","modified_gmt":"2021-12-16T15:39:53","slug":"gynecologic-oncology","status":"publish","type":"especialidades","link":"https:\/\/cancuncancerinstitute.com\/en\/especialidades\/gynecologic-oncology\/","title":{"rendered":"Gynecologic Oncology"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>WHAT IS GYNECOLOGIC ONCOLOGY?<br \/>\nGynecologic Oncology is the medical subspecialty that is responsible for the care of women with genital cancer, that is, cancer of the cervix, endometrial or body cancer, ovarian cancer, vulvar or vaginal cancer.<\/p>\n<p>In 1969, the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, faced with the impossibility of assimilating the avalanche of information and mastering all the techniques that were offered to specialists at the time, recommended the creation of 3 subspecialties: maternal-fetal medicine, medicine of reproduction and oncological gynecology.
