Dr. Brenda Pastrana is part of the multidisciplinary team at Cancun Cancer Institute. Oncologist Surgeon graduated from the National University of Mexico, Certified by the Mexican Council of Oncology, and an active member of the Mexican Society of Oncology.

Graduated from the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico. She completed the specialty of General Surgery at HGR # 17 of the IMSS in Cancun, Quintana Roo.

Later she studied the Sub Specialty of Oncological Surgery at the National Medical Center 20 de Noviembre. During her training, she made a rotation to the FUCAM, as well as to the Breast Cancer Treatment Center at the Zambrano Hellion Hospital and San José de Tec Salud. During her training, she completed the Breast Oncoplastic Surgery Course taught by Dr. Benigno Acea.

She currently works at Regional Hospital # 17, in the area of Oncological Surgery.
